Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs. We conduct extensive health screenings and genetic testing to ensure that our puppies are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. We also provide our dogs with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization.

From this point, we will contact you via texting with weekly picture updates and a video around week 6-7. Please be patient for pictures and videos - we have a family too.
Please note, we do not ship our pups. If your family is chosen to adopt one of our pups, you will need to travel to Minnesota to pick up your pup.
NOTE: Due to the changing nature of our world, we do not allow visits from families before adoption day.
Adoption Day is scheduled for when puppies are 8-10 weeks old (never before 8 weeks; it's the law). On Adoption Day, plan for 30-60 minutes to meet with us and learn tips and helps for being a new puppy parent. You will be given a generous welcome home puppy packet and lots of good information. And, of course, hold your newest family member.
NOTE: We do not allow you to bring your other dog(s) to join you for Adoption Day.
The remaining adoption fee of 1700$ will be due in cash at that time. You will also be asked to sign the Bill of Sale (see below), receive all of the additional paperwork, and go over any other questions you may have. And - take your first family photo with your new puppy!
Once you become a part of the WoodHaven Family, WE CONSIDER YOU FAMILY. We are always here to help and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. And, of course, we are always available for questions and pictures!

WoodHaven Pups certifies that your puppy is in good health and has been examined by our veterinarian, Oak Grove Animal Hospital, and is up to date on all vaccinations and dewormings. WHP will provide all medical history paperwork to Buyer at time of sale.
The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a qualified, licensed vet of the Buyer's choosing within the first 72 hours of assuming custody. This puppy check can be done by any licensed vet. If puppy is not seen within these 72 hours by a licensed vet, this contract becomes void.

If these safety protocols are not followed, this contract becomes void.
Buyer agrees that they will not take the puppy to an area with other dogs until puppy is fully immunized - i.e., dog parks, doggy daycare, puppy kindergarten. If these safety protocols are not followed, this contract becomes void.
Buyer understands that the following slight defects are not considered serious or life threatening, and are not covered under this guarantee: umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, cherry eye, undescended testicle, underbite or overbite, grade 1-2 heart murmur, grade 1-2 patella, entropian. If puppy dies within the first year, Buyer must pay to have an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death. If the cause is congenital, Seller will replace the puppy when a "like" puppy becomes available; this could take up to 24 months. If the puppy acquires a life threatening disease, WoodHaven Pups must be contacted within 24 hours of initial vet visit and also be notified in writing. In all cases, WHP reserves the right to have the puppy examined by our veterinarian. If the examination of the alleged defect is not genetic, but caused by trauma, stress, neglect, poor diet, abuse or any not-inherited factor, this contract is void.
If for whatever reason Buyer cannot or does not wish to maintain ownership of puppy, ownership will revert back to WoodHaven Pups. *No refunds will be given.* We have requests for adult dogs and older puppies, and will place dog in an appropriate, vetted home.

WoodHaven Pups was also listed on www.Pupvine.com (albeit the information isn't 100% accurate) as "one of the best from the Gopher State".

And, we certainly do not claim to know everything about dogs, but we are constantly learning and growing as breeders, taking continuing education classes, and willing to share our experiences and research in order to help us all learn as we go.
We also offer the Snuggle Puppy for 30$; Amazon sellls for 40$
We try to do everything we possibly can to keep our puppies safe. They are very much like newborns and do not have the immunities to fight germs and infections. Parvo is our biggest scare; it can kill a puppy in less than 24 hours; and it can live in clothing and shoes. Parvo can be picked up anywhere and once it comes to a property, it takes years to get rid of.
Each living creature has been created by God to have a distinct personality. Just as with children, not all boys are rough and tumble and not all girls are pretty princesses. The only outright difference is the way they "pee".
Three things:
- This a poodle trait.
- Their tear ducts are not big enough yet to hold all their tears.
- They have a lot of hair around their face/eyes. Just like a bothersome eyelash.

A medium-sized wire crate with a divider is ideal. A puppy should only be ale to turn a circle in the size he's sleeping in. Any extra space becomes a potty space. A wire crate covered with a blanket or a plastic crate is a great "hidey hole" for puppy to make their own safe space. We highly recommend crate training!
F1 Cavapoo = 50% cavalier / 50% poodle - First cross between two purebred dogs
F1b Cavapoo = 25% cavalier / 75% poodle - A "b" means backcross; breed a cavapoo back to a poodle
F2 Cavapoo = Cavapoo/cavapoo - Cavapoo bred back to another cavapoo
