Because God is the final Creator of the puppies, we cannot guarantee any colors, whether those colors will fade, or whether they will have curly, wavy or a straight coat. We have found that a puppy's coat isn't determined until about 10 weeks of ago.
- Personality = does not start coming out until about 5-6 weeks. There is no difference between a male or female puppy as far as personality either. Just like children, each puppy has a distinct personality.
Our breeding process is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs. We conduct extensive health screenings and genetic testing to ensure that our puppies are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. We handraise and socialize all of our puppies. We also provide our adult dogs with the best possible care, including proper nutrition and exercise.

If you are interested in a pup from the spring litters, we have opened our waitlist.
Cockapoos should be born the 3rd week of February - available to go home 10wks later. Cavapoos should be born the 3rd of March - available to go home 10wks later.
In the meantime, we have no paws on the ground - you can visit my sister's website (www.UphoffPets.com) for available puppies.
As noted above, I travel to Illinois every 3 weeks and am available to bring your newest family member home with a paid reservation fee.
Adult DOGS avAILABLE
We will be retiring an F1 male Cavapoo; available late spring/early summer.
He will need room to run! He is very energetic and a lover. Loves to play. Loves to be outside. Working on harness/leash training. (We have a very large fenced-in yard and have not had to work on this prior.) He is neutered and utd on rabies. At this point, he is a marker, so will be working on that as well.
A nominal adoption fee will be applied for the right family.
THE ADOPTION PROCESS
A mama dog is pregnant for 9 weeks (60-63 days). Once she has her puppies:
- WoodHaven Pups will contact you to set up a time to do a Zoom interview.
- After the zoom interview, you will be invited to choose a puppy from a photo. (This is when a puppy is around 2-3 weeks.)
- If your family is interested, you will have 24 hours to place a 500$ non-refundable reservation fee that goes toward the final adoption cost of 2100$.
From this point, we will contact you via texting with weekly picture updates and a video around week 7-8 weeks. Please be patient for pictures and videos - we have a family too.
Please note, we do not ship our pups. If your family is chosen to adopt one of our pups, you will need to travel to Minnesota to pick up your pup.
NOTE: Due to the changing nature of our world, we do not allow visits from families before adoption day.
Adoption Day is scheduled for when puppies are 10-12 weeks old (never before 8 weeks; it's the law). On Adoption Day, plan for 30-60 minutes to meet with us and learn tips and helps for being a new puppy parent. You will be given a welcome home puppy packet and lots of good information. And, of course, hold your newest family member.
NOTE: We do not allow you to bring your other dog(s) to join you for Adoption Day.
The remaining adoption fee of 1600$ will be due in cash at that time. You will also be asked to sign the Contract (see below), receive all of the additional paperwork, and go over any other questions you may have. And - take your first family photo with your new puppy!
Once you become a part of the WoodHaven Family, WE CONSIDER YOU FAMILY. We are always here to help and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. And, of course, we are always available for questions and pictures!

If you have served with the military or are currently serving, or if you are in law enforcement or a firefighter, please let us know so we can offer you 10% off your adoption fee as a thank you for protecting us and serving our Country and Communities. (Documentation will need to be provided.)

2. Health Certification at Sale
WoodHaven Pups MN certifies that, to the best of their knowledge, the puppy is in good health and free of obvious illness or defects at the time of sale. The puppy has received all vaccinations and deworming treatments appropriate for its age.
3. Buyer's Responsibilities – Veterinary Examination
The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian (of the Buyer's choice) within three (3) business days of taking custody (excluding Sundays and holidays).
- If the puppy is not examined within this period, all health guarantees become void.
- If a health issue is discovered during this initial exam, the Buyer must notify the Breeder immediately.
4. Health Guarantee – Congenital Defects
WoodHaven Pups MN guarantees the puppy to be free of life-threatening congenital (genetic/hereditary) defects for one (1) year from the puppy's date of birth.
- If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening congenital defect within this period, the Buyer must:
- Provide proof of the initial veterinary exam within the first three (3) business days.
- Notify WoodHaven Pups MN in writing within seven (7) days of the diagnosis.
- WoodHaven Pups MN has the right to require a second opinion from a veterinarianor specialist of their choice (WoodHaven Pups MN’s expense).
- If a life-threatening congenital defect is confirmed, WoodHaven Pups MN will offer a replacement puppy of equal or lesser value (from a future litter) within up to 24 months. Color, sex, and exact markings are not guaranteed.
- If the Buyer declines a replacement puppy, the sale is considered final with no refund or further remedy.
5. Exclusions from Health Guarantee
This guarantee does not cover minor or non-life-threatening conditions, including but not limited to:
- Umbilical hernia
- Inguinal hernia
- Cherry eye
- Undescended testicle(s)
- Underbite or overbite
- Grade 1–2 heart murmur
- Grade 1–2 patellar luxation
- Infectious/parasitic conditions (e.g., hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, kennel cough, giardia, mites, fleas, ticks, ringworm, ear infections, worms)
- Any illness or injury due to ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, toxins, or physical trauma
- Any condition resulting from failure to keep vaccinations current
6. General Disclaimers
- The Buyer is solely responsible for maintaining all future vaccinations, preventive care, and overall health after the sale. Failure to do so voids the health guarantee.
- WoodHaven Pups MN assumes no responsibility after the date of sale/adoption for: medical expenses, disease, death, landlord issues, allergies, shedding, personality/temperament, training difficulties, family disagreements, or any other matters not directly related to a covered life-threatening congenital defect.
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
- It is strongly recommended that the puppy avoid contact with other dogs or high-risk environments until fully vaccinated.
- No other warranties or guarantees (expressed or implied) are provided except as explicitly stated in this agreement.
- This health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer.
7. Non-Breeding Agreement
The puppy is sold strictly as a pet/companion with no breeding rights. The Buyer agrees not to use the puppy for breeding purposes under any circumstances. Violation of this clause may result in legal action to enforce the terms.
8. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any changes must be made in writing and signed by both WoodHaven Pups MN and Buyer.
SUNDAYS AT WoodHaven Pups MN
We will not be answering emails, text messages or scheduling any adoptions on Sundays. We strongly believe this is our Sabboth Day and thank you for respecting our family beliefs. We will contact you on Monday as soon as we are in the office.
